SEAFOOD WATCH
Commercial fishing practices have greatly impacted many species of fish and other marine animals, as well as damaging critical marine habitat. You can make informed choices when you purchase seafood that will help sustain species and maintain abundant oceans. Read about the Monterrey Bay Aquarium's Seafood Watch program which educates the public about global fishing practices. Visit the site and download their pocket guide to responsible seafood choices.

MAKE A DONATION TO REHAB SEALS IN PUGET SOUND
PAWS (Progressive Animal Welfare Society). A Northwest leader in protecting animals since 1967, the Progressive Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) shelters homeless animals, rehabilitates injured and orphaned wildlife, and empowers people to demonstrate compassion and respect for animals in their daily lives. PAWS is the only organization in South Puget Sound that rescues and rehabs seals and has limited resources for the very costly endeavor to house and heal them. Please make a donation to this dedicated group today and ask that it be appropriated to marine mammal rehab.
